2025 World of Aromatic Coconut – Organized by Magiconex
Official Appreciation & Trip Summary
On behalf of Magiconex, organizer of the 2025 World of Aromatic Coconut Program, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to Mr. Narongsak Chuensuchon, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries – Ratchaburi Province, and Managing Director of NC Coconut Co., Ltd., for his exceptional hospitality during the NC Coconut Visit Program 2025, held on 25–26 November 2025 in Damnoen Saduak, Ratchaburi.
This program provided 32 participants from Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia with first-hand exposure to Thailand’s world-leading aromatic coconut industry. The visit offered comprehensive learning across the entire value chain—including farm management, production processes, product innovation, waste utilization, branding strategy, global marketing expansion, and sustainable investment opportunities.
During two days of workshop, friendships and business partnering were established. We sincerely thank NC Coconut for valuable knowledge sharing and insights to all attendees.
NC Coconut is one of Thailand’s most influential producers and exporters of premium aromatic coconuts and value-added coconut products. Managing over 5,000 rai of cultivation area and processing hundreds of thousands of coconuts per day, the company stands out for its world-class standards, including GHP, HACCP, BRC, HALAL, and USDA Organic certifications. Its export markets include China, the United States, the Middle East, and ASEAN, reinforcing Thailand’s position as the global leader in aromatic coconuts.
Program Highlights & Key Learnings
This learning journey allowed all participants to understand the true power of a “complete coconut industry chain.” NC Coconut’s success began with coconut cultivation and expanded step-by-step into modern processing facilities, development of soil-specific fertilizers, and the establishment of strong export brands. Their model shows that coconuts are not merely an agricultural product—they represent a fully integrated industry capable of competing on the global stage.
From production management to strict processing standards and brand building, NC Coconut demonstrates vision, professionalism, and long-term strategic thinking. Everyone on the trip expressed admiration for the scale, discipline, and achievements that took decades to build.
The program also served as a platform for participants from Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia to share experiences. A key takeaway was the importance of strengthening agricultural fundamentals, especially for countries aiming to grow their coconut industries. This includes:
- Proper variety selection
- Soil suitability and fertilizer application
- Pest and disease management
- Irrigation planning
- Adoption of pure, high-quality coconut seedlings—something NC Coconut invests heavily in developing
Another critical learning was the importance of building a complete processing chain. Thailand and the Philippines became global coconut powerhouses because they can utilize every part of the coconut, turning it into high-value products—coconut water, coconut milk, coconut oil, coconut cream, coconut fiber, coconut shell activated carbon, and more. A strong processing ecosystem ensures stable markets for farmers and long-term industrial sustainability.
For Malaysia and other ASEAN partners, this trip highlighted that deep processing—not just fresh coconut exports—is the path to future competitiveness.
A Regional Vision for the Future
Witnessing the strength that Thailand has built over decades—through collaboration between government, farmers, processors, exporters, and innovators—gave all participants confidence that ASEAN can enter a golden era of coconut development. The rising global demand after COVID-19, driven by health consciousness, creates vast opportunities for cooperation, investment, and regional integration.
Magiconex is proud to organize this program and remains committed to supporting learning, partnership building, and sustainable development across the ASEAN coconut ecosystem.
